Recreational Deep Diver
Define deep diving. Are you prepared to deal with the causes and effects of the increased depth and dangers associated with it? Taking a course in deep diving will teach you the proper techniques, equipment and configuration, with an emphasis on safety precautions. This specialty will provide you with the confidence to extend your diving beyond the basic Open Water rating of 60' to the maximum recreational range of 130'.
Prerequisits
Proof of current SCUBA certification by a recognized agency
Minimum age is fifteen (15) years.
Dive Log verification of 15 dives in not more than 2 years
Duration
Eight(8) hours of instruction consisting of:
Classroom presentation
Two dives
Course Content
This course covers but is not specifically limited to the following topics:
$75.00 non-refundable deposit required upon booking.
Additional Costs
Students are responsible for the cost of breathing gases used and the cost incurred for a 2 tank dive charter.
Equipment Requirements
All participants are responsible for providing all equipment or for making provisions to acquire equipment before the start of the course. There are no additional equipment requirements other than complete personal diving equipment.
