GUE Technical Diver Level I - Class Format 2

This class conducts the Tech 1 program in two phases. This course format is for those divers unable to meet the week long schedule and/or for those seeking to have a break in their training (some divers have found a period to go practice the first skill set is useful to successfully complete the course). Students will be required to meet all the same prerequisites & requirements for equipment and training as for the typical Tech 1 course.

Please note: If the schedule requires the instructor(s) to travel to your destination on more than one occassion additional instructor travel fee's & other expenses will apply to the individual(s) seeking this format.

Duration

Each phase is 3 Full days

Example Friday 8:00am to 8:00pm, Saturday 8:00am to 8:00pm, Sunday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Course Structure

Phase 1 of the Tech 1 Format 2 is no decompression diving

Dive depths:
Day 1 - Lecture & 2 Dives 20 - 30 ft (Nitrox)

Day 2 - Lecture & 2 Dives 40 - 70 ft (Nitrox)

Day 3 - Lecture & 2 Dives 80 - 120 ft (Triox)

Phase 2 of the Tech 1 Format 2 is the decompression component
Day 1 - Lecture & 2 Dives 60-100ft (nitrox plus nitrox 50 deco stages)

Day 2 - Lecture & 2 Dives 80-120ft (triox 30/30 plus nitrox 50 deco stages)

Day 3 - 1 dives 120-160ft (triox 21/35 plus nitrox 50 deco stages
