Location: near the Martello Tower in front of Kingston General Hospital, King Street West

This is another downtown Kingston shore dive. Located near the Martello Tower on King Street, this barge was deliberately scuttled as part of a plan to create breakwater, a plan which never proceeded any further.

The entry is from the parking lot on the west side of the Martello tower. If you gear up at the picnic table located there and enter the water immediately in front of you, you can find a line running southwest. The line forms an "L", turning roughly west and taking you to the wreck.

Check the weather forcast before doing this dive as winds above 10 knots from between the SE and SW (winds are typically out of the S or SW) will lead to waves making entry and exit hard.
