How to organize the charter

To the person responsible for setting up a charter, organizing a group of divers has been said to be similar to attempting to herd cats - not an easy task to accomplish. While we cannot be of much assistance in helping you wrangle your divers, we do make every effort to ensure that once you show up on our doorstep that events will run as smoothly as possible from there on in.

It has been our experience that if we have a little information about you and your party, what your requirements are and what wrecks you wish to see then we can be far more effective in making your dive adventure a more pleasureable and stress free experience. To that end we would ask you to take the time to follow these steps:
  • Call or e-mail us to enquire what boats/dates are available.
  • Place a deposit to reserve your boat. Please realize that when you book a charter you are making a reservation much like a hotel. We turn business away to protect your charter after you book. If you do not show up for the charter you forfit your deposit. As well, if you cancel within 14 days of the date of the charter you may forfit your deposit or a portion thereof if we are unable to rebook for that date.
  • Download a copy of the Mainifest Control Sheet and fill it out with the appropriate information. E-mail, snail mail or fax NTD a copy at least two week prior to the scheduled charter.
  • Browse the wrecks section of our website to see which wrecks would interest you and your group and indicate your preferences on the Manifest. Please note that while we make every effort to get you to the wrecks you want to see, as always, the weather sometimes dictates otherwise.
  • Download a copy of the NTD General Waiver. Make copies for all members of your party and have them complete the waiver. Bring these to the store with you on the day of the dive.
  • If necessary download a copy of the Additional Requirements Request, complete the form noting any additional equipment or assistance that your party will require.
